In 1991, she joined Home Shopping Network as Vice President of Programming. From 1992 to 1995, as Vice President of Product and Programming Development for Transactional Media, Inc., she developed television talk and beauty shows, and pioneered the marriage of traditional television talk show programming with direct response advertising to create transactional television programming. She was part of the team that created the first transactional daytime TV program, “Day-to-Day Live,” hosted by Gloria Loring. And the first late night transactional program for a major network, “Nitecap,” hosted by Robin Leach for ABC.
